The land wasn't too different here, compared to the areas she had already traversed. There were trees, grasslands, lots of snow.. The only difference was that the air smelled distinctly of wolves. Sure, the borders had the scent markings that told others to leave, or to back off. But to find the smell so pungent further in, told her that the pack was quite large. If they were all two-legged like the wolf Tatiana had enountered earlier, that would be interesting. To be safe - and because of her apprehension - the girl avoided heavily populated areas. She moved quickly, quietly, across the snow; heading in to the territory only to see some strange formations in the distance. They looked like the ruins, but were made of trees, and they seemed quite alien to her. The wolf avoided the buildings and headed back to the outskirts, keeping herself closer to the center of the territory instead of the borders. Having been accepted, it would serve her well to explore - even if the thought of encountering the native creatures was unnerving to her.
Tatiana's path curved around the buildings, keeping them at a hearty distance yet always in her line of sight. She would eventually investigate them as well, but for now it seemed like a good idea to get the edges of the packland sorted out. She headed North, ducking in to the cover of trees - and then there was a distinct sound. It was similar to a deer falling prey to a wolf; a collapse, a thump as it's body hit the dirt. It reminded her that she hadn't eaten in quite some time, and so Tatiana decided to look closer. She wove around trees, and then stopped in her tracks. There was a creature in front of her - one of the two-legged things - and it was getting up. It must have been what she had heard. Oh dear, I hope it isn't hurt, She thought, poking her nose out of the protective shadows to sniff at the breeze. She could not smell blood, so the wolf was probably alright. She watched it from her safe place, curious yet afraid.
