Sadly there was no commerce and such like that in this place. One would have to travel away from Canada and back down into Maine where the port was to be able to find traders to haggle with. One would be unable to find a trader with their stall set up in this place. There wasn't a gathering spot for anything of that. It would just be luck to find someone with something that you wanted and was willing to trade whatever you had for it in the area of 'Souls. Everything else was just found items that were collected. At least this is what Imacai was learning in his short time here. It really made him miss Barbados. There were more around. In this place everyone just seemed to be spread too far out for his liking.
Imacai moved through the shroud of fog for things on interest. He caught the sound of a voice within the fog. "Duppy?" He'd already had a run in similar to this on another island. Noises and voices that seemed to be displaced. Did the duppies slide from one island to another? After all he had heard stores of them on the island of Barbados as well. It was where he first learned tale of them. It was beginning to seem like all island had duppies. Or at least unexplained noises and events that would lead one to believe that the duppies were present and existed.
He kept on walking until a form broke through the fog. No, not a duppy but an actual being. He dropped to his hands and knees and continue forwards to crawl up behind the other. "Mornin'. How you?" He spoke up before making to sniff at the woman's behind. Female, wolf, around his age are the things he gathered from just the scent alone. "Imacai." He introduced himself, remaining on his hands and knees though he had turned around so that the female could get to his rear and sniff at him in return. He had even made sure his tail was out of the way so that he could get the full sample.
