"Hmmmmm," Jenkai sighed to himself as he ran his fingers over the dusted spines of the library’s once treasured books. He had come here often in the past year, and had taken countless numbers of books back to his beach house. He had found a bag of sorts that he used when he wanted to carry a dozen books, but he had come with no possessions today. He had a fascination for the humans, and loved reading all sorts of non-fiction books about them. But today he was looking for something different. He had found himself looking at fiction titles.



He stepped over fallen volumes on the floor as he titled his head to the side in order to make out the words. Some looked interesting and others looked too old to even handle. He had had a few fall apart on him, but he tried to preserve them the best he could. Sliding out a book with a black cover, he opened to the first page to reveal the book’s title: Disaster. With a thin grin, he snapped it shut and placed it under his arm, before deciding to head towards the exit.
