The White Ash of Snow

I needs me some help :3 ALSO: This is an extension of a thread occuring on the same day, although it is seperate because one part takes place in AniWaya, the other in Serena Reserve.

In the cold depths of the forest, it was still beautiful. Icicles hung like suspended teardrops, the river bubbled still, and the trees were ashen grey on white. Ralla was out that day to gather some wood, but not just any wood; she wanted good white ash bark. She had seen the trees earlier in autumn and had liked their scent--found it calming and pleasing--and so thought it would be an adventure in itself to gather some of its wood to feed to the Great Fire. With her was Sugar, plodding along faithfully beside her, and a small axe in hand. She hummed a tune to fill the ice forest, the icicles almost ringing like chimes in the still day. Wherever she went, Ralla seemed to be surrounded by the silent breath of winter, her whims and duties diverging from much activity. She was fine with that, though. She loved her tribe and her friends, but peace and quiet was always a welcome solace in times of trouble, as she had reflected upon during her season cleansing.

Her hums soon turned to a soft song--or poem, as it might've been--as she grew more comfortable that she was alone, her steps gaining an extra spring. The world was now her wonderland; her kingdom; her home. She was as much a part of the snow as the moon and sun were paradox.

"In the cold gales of winter;
"In the nights we remain.
"In the drumbeats of warring thunder
"You can hear me call your name.
"In the gentle scent of the hills;
"In the sun's fires we go on.
"In the waters of pure rivers
"All sorrow is cleansed then gone."

Moon walks. "Moon talks." Moon thinks.
