WC: 343 OOC: whee time for unhappy times
Niro did not want to do this. He was afraid of the reaction he'd get. He has seen disappointment in the leaders face and that was for having children with his Niece... now Niro had impregnated his mate, though there was nothing wrong with it, Vigil had voiced his opinion about her age and being so young. He was having a hard time believing it, but as the days started to grow longer, Amaranth's belly started to grow larger. It was her first litter, and his second, but it still felt like his first, though he knew he was a horrible father as it was. Today he decided if Vigilante hadn't seen her already, to tell him of his step daughter's predicament. Niro needed to calm himself a little, and he made his birds leave him before he headed to his leaders home. He did not need them muddling up his meeting with the king.
Upon getting there though Niro was starting to doubt himself, as he always did. Vigilante was going to kill him... she was his daughter and Niro wasn't so sure the man might take the news kindly. Taking a deep breath and closing his eyes he knocked, three times, biting his lip and squinting a little. He had done it... now all there was to do was to wait. He kept telling himself he could do this, there was really nothing to be worried about. Vigilante would understand, he and Amaranth were mates after all and Niro would not abandon her now, he loved her too much. He had not abandoned his other children... nor their mother, he had not really known about any of them and then they were thrown in his life but he iddn't mind that... he minded that he was not allowed to see his girls and now two of them were gone and one he rarely saw even though she lived with him and Amaranth. He was sure this record would be fresh in Vigil's mind.
