Kinda short and crappy. o.o Happens after Ezekiel/Talitha, though she takes a bit trying to find him.
Everything was wrong. Crimson eyes, stolen from a mother she had condemned to the gallows, swept the lands of Inferni for a familiar face. Father, Aquila, God. Gabriel de le Poer had become a target of enraged hunting. Gabriel de le Poer had caused a loving sister to assault her only true brother. The blame was easily placed upon him, though he hadn't orchestrated such a thing. His daughter simply needed the scapegoat.
The hybrid Aquila's scent was everywhere, making the task of locating him more difficult than it should have been. The anger that clouded her judgement didn't help the matter. Her feet carried her from Ezekiel's home to search the den of the man himself before quick decision brought her to the beach; her intention had been a quick drowning of herself, to lessen whatever future pain she knew she would bring her family. Instead, she found her destination.
"What have you done?" Seething, a red gaze narrowed upon the doggish form of the Aquila. In the moments it took her to sprint from her brother to the shore, alongside the thoughts that a watery grave would suit her, she had found an irrational realization to the presence of the two siblings spoken of before. One boy and one girl. A prince and a princess. Replacements for grown children she was so sure he couldn't love. Children of a traitor, and traitors in their own right.
