It was lucky that she was already so close to the group; Naniko had just caught the scent of the newcomers and had begun her journey toward them when she heard Selene's howl. It didn't sound terribly urgent so she figured that her sister wasn't in trouble or danger, but that she had found someone interesting at the border and needed Naniko there.
The large luperci was always shifted and walked with two feet toward the group. Around her waist was a small weapons belt that held a small axe and three daggers. Two were plain looking and tipped in poison, the female's main source of defense (she wasn't much of a fighter), but the other was more ornately decorated.
She approached the group and greeted her sibling with a wide smile. Besides being her sister, Selene played a big role in keeping the pack running smoothly, something that the Angela appreciated. It was often Selene who came across newcomers at the borders, she who greeted them and called for Naniko.
"Who do we have here?" It wasn't often that a wanderer with a child was found at the pack's borders, and she was curious about them. Her hand played with the hilt of her ceremonial dagger as she observed the body language between the creatures. Things seemed relaxed, which was good.
