She returned her sister's smile. Sele had been in this situation often enough but this was the first time that she had found two at once. Though there was one female that she had found that ended up not sticking around. So it couldn't be said that she was the best judge of character. After all Sele was more apt and willing to believe in the positive in everyone but herself. She might not exactly extend trust but that was mostly because of herself. She didn't want to get to really liking someone again only to lose them. It had happened multiple times already. She had to be cursed or something because of it.

Sele crawled on hands and knees backwards so that her sister could have the spotlight and all of the attention. Though she spoke up for her sister's benefit, repeating information that she was told while Nani wasn't there. "Tlantli said that the boy, Citlali, is good at weaving while she can scout, fight, and teach. She also knows about the ritual and has agreed to it. So far the child hasn't spoken at all." She wasn't sure if the boy would have to partake in the ritual as well since he was already with family. That was for her sister to decide obviously. Still, she wanted Nani to know that she hadn't gotten the child's acceptance or agreement on anything.

So with her job pretty much done here since Nani could easily take over and care for things Sele made to push herself back up on her hands. The female made to retreat back into the lands once more. She would find some other portion of the border to cross so that she could slip away from the pack unnoticed as she had been about to do previously anyways.
