OOC here: Table & Coding © Hickey; 517 words

He had come to figure that the leadership here didn't really know what they were doing. The meetings that they had had them discussing things and having to get ideas from the pack instead of being able to decide things for themselves. It was pitiful. And then the lies that Shaw had spoke in front of Addison. This pack helped each other? Where was this help? He hadn't seen it. No one had ever come to work with him. Past the moose hunt all of the acquired pelts he had gotten on his own, save for two rabbits that he had been paid for a tattoo that he had done. Everything was done by his own hands and no other. Even working on the lodge with Shaw hadn't impressed him. Ouija had no experience in construction and had looked to Shaw for instruction but again he had to end up giving the other man a suggestion for what to do. What sort of leader always relied on their pack members to tell them what to do?

He was tempted to ignore the call but his sense of loyalty had him going. He had his own loss he was dealing with. Something that he had warned Shaw about had come to pass. He was working on keeping close to Addison after their loss. He had been spending more time in his den with her. So far she hadn't been pushing him away so he thought that was good. Still he wanted to make sure that she would be fine. He had seen what such a loss had done to others. It drove a wedge between them and everyone else. He was trying to stay around to support and comfort her should she need it. She didn't really seem to though. She seemed strong enough on her own. And so he had left the den without a word to attend the meeting.

He came up to see a few gathered there. Some faces he had only seen once and another he had never seen before. He moved over to the couple that had visited him in the lodge before. The fellow, Mars, had been there a couple of times since Ouija had prepared a pelt for him. Then the female at his side was a recent visitor and had requested his services as well. He moved to stand behind those two, not trying to hide since he taller than all gathered so of course he stood out. "What is going on?" He asked in a whisper of the two that he had placed himself near. He didn't stay near Thornbury so he didn't already know of all the trouble that had been going on there. None here concerned themselves to ever come and check on him so he didn't spare them the same favor. The one female he was set to help had left this place. Since then he hadn't really bothered with coming here. What reason did he have to? He hadn't promised his assistance to any that remained within the town so he had no purpose here.
