[M] para el sol

The sun outside was growing brighter day through day, the rays beginning to warm the grounds of Anathema. The snow that always capped the peaks of the mountains they lived beneath had melted further below. Theodore Stone had helped his friend Liev set up the paddocks for their new stock of animals, though the grey Russian had big plans for the space out there that would take time to put into play. Still, Teddy really was trying to be a more active and helpful member of Anathema, especially since he was the Rakeeb. He had almost completely broken the bridges between himself and Demi and that was unacceptable to the male. She should at the very least come and apologise to him for being so shitty that day.

The threat of rain clouds forced the black and white-accented male inside, optime form clad in summer gear that would have him saturated in moments if he remained outside. Perhaps it was time he spent some of his day inside the cave system, learning about his pack members. He knew there had been a few new members admitted into their large family but he was yet to meet any of them. Two of them were coyote's and Teddy was keen to see if they were anything like the two he'd already met. Their scents said they had been accepted- the slightest tang of blood around them that said they had been accepted into Anathema. The young warrior's keen nose was hot on the trail of the female whom Naniko had allowed entrance.

From the stark whiteness of outside to the dingy firelights of the inside of their home, Teddy's eyes were quickly accustomed. One of his duties, with the absence of a pack member who had chosen the tier yet, was to check the torches each morning, adding more fuel to those low and relighting those that had gone out altogether. While the caves were never pitch dark, the flickering firelight always gave the inside of the caves a dark and dingy look. Thoughts of the fires were dropped as the fire flashed in the reflection of a blade raised high. Instinct told him to reach for his own dagger, before foreign words made themselves known. In the darkness, the golden sheen to an optime forms coat came through as well as the stark white of rabbits at her knees. Moments later the sweet stench of blood coated his nose and the cavernous floor. He was fairly interested, to say the very least. Brawny body moved with powerful grace as he walked over to the coyote, sitting down and resembling a school boy without saying a word. He would watch for now.
