Tlantli found it easy to interact, having never been a shy child. Socialization was boring. People, however, were entertaining. The subtle, rather coy smile that so rarely broke past her trademark apathy remained bright and shining upon her features as she watched Itachi from his bed. It hadn't occurred to her that invading his space as she had was rude — it was only a possession and, though she did not like others touching her things, she felt it would be trivial to turn aggressive for something so simple. Of course, her life was different than his. Perhaps his home was so simple, so plain, and he coveted his possessions like buried treasure found beneath the sea. She would have no way of knowing. No way at all.
He did not, however, turn angry. Instead, he listened. As he listened, she watched. Fire eyes studied his posture and the absence of movement. It was as if Itachi was a statue, to be viewed by the public and immoveable. Quite a feat. By the time she heard his question, she was so wrapped up in the task of watching him for the most minute movement that she didn't answer immediately. For the briefest moment, she forgot her past. With a few quick blinks, it all came back. "Eterne. You would not know ahf it. Not unless you haft gone there." Beautiful Eterne, amongst the ruins of ancient human civilizations. Beautiful, delusional Eterne. She almost missed it.
