Liliana was quite excited, it wouldn’t be long before she went to the great tribe with Nayati, she would get to meet his parents, get to know them and tell them about their mate-ship. She knew he didn’t feel right without them knowing, and she did want to see her in laws as well as how the tribe worked in the great tribe. She was in the stables today, working with the foal. He was now so very lively. She loved it, this meant that he would grow up. She did wish he had not been born prematurely though, as problems could occur over his lifetime because of it. She brushed the horse off, though he really didn’t need it much, but it helped him get use to the touching of the luperci and the feel of the bristles. This was new to her, raising a foal, but she liked the challange, and he was not an orphan so she got lucky there too. In fact his mother was quite protective of him, but she made sure the mare knew there was no harm to come to the young foal. He was growing, but only a little, he was not even a head taller than when he was born, but this didn’t worry Liliana, he was quite a sturdy little horse, and he had a growth, she would grow worry if he didn’t start growing soon though. She couldn’t wait to see what kind of horse he would be when she returned from her trip.

It seemed like he liked the idea, as he threw his head up and down. She giggled patting the side of the small foals neck. He would surely be a fine horse. His mother was. It did make her wonder what kind of stallion had made such a beautiful grey horse. It was as though ash from a fire just piled up on him, as there were spots where the grey was darker than another. She liked it. She continued to brush the horse, humming, though badly, a song her father had always sang her.
