Though Viking only had a single eye with which to see the world with, the giant was not blind. He watched with a bit of an irritated scowl on his countenance as the other found what he was looking for by a rock. The bone washed male nearly took a step forward until he saw the shadow draw out a sword - so he was a warrior after all. And, like all good warriors, this one wanted a sparring match.
It was a good thing King was always prepared, though this was the furthest thing from his mind earlier as he exited the mouth of the cave before the sun rose from its enclosure. The other asked a question that Viking did not comprehend among the crashing of the waves, but oftentimes even simple words were hard for the foreign one to grasp. Nevertheless, weapons spoke volumes from one fighter to another, and whether this male was from the same clan or not, they would soon meet blade to blade.
The large one took the initiative to step forward, walking closer to the black male, the grip on the leather-bound weapon tightening at every step. His form stopped when he was feet away from the other, still near the water's edge, his natural scowl now coupled with a spark of disappointment across his single eye. The scent of the other was now in his nostrils - he was a brother. Pierced ear moved backwards, uttering a single grunt over to the shadow. Drawing his axe towards himself, Viking lifted his free hand to grip the handle, the weapon turned sideways for the stranger, now his opponent, to see. In the proper stance, the giant male gave the greeting that was proper from his Band across the sea, one warrior to another. The battle would begin.
