The larger male closed the space between them; a tightening of muscle drew the young Dasa’s eyes to the weapon the other carried,. An armed, large brute, huh? Apparently, today was not going to be one of those ‘quite, go for a swim in the sun’ days. Taking in a deep breath, he tested the air in an attempt to pick up the others scent. A lucky breeze drifted towards him and he finally managed to identify the other; although he had not met the stranger before, he recognised the male’s scent. He’s pack and a warrior to?
It was clear now, that the one before him was not a threat, at least not in the way he had assumed the other to be. Taking in the larger male’s stance and reading his body language, it was also clear his companion was looking for a fight.. and he was more than willing to comply.
Shifting his hand from the pommel, he wrapped it around the handle of his blade and drew it slightly from its sheath, in a silent show that he accepted the other’s challenge. Slowly, he widened his stance and dipped his foot into the sand to get better footing; he’d fought upon sand before and was well aware that it would affect his speed, which left him at a disadvantage. His opponent had greater physical strength than he, and under normal circumstances he would have relied upon speed to win, but now all he had was his mind and his sword.
A grin tugged at his lips and he finally pulled the weapon free from it’s scabbard. Let the fun begin.
