Silvano felt it had been too quiet lately, even for him, the boy that loved peace and calmness. Maybe it just felt as though the air was too heavy to handle, but that could have just been him. Artemis was awake but her moods were far more volatile, especially after they had found out a new female to the pack had killed her best friend, their adopted brother. Savina had been depressed and the children that no longer were children watched their mother weaken emotionally. Silvano and Parker watched their sister grow no stronger though she had been awake so long. So why did she still look so thin? So weak? Their Artie? Silvano wanted to find out why she was not getting any stronger.
It was mornin and the Sadira youth was sleeping in his room when the sun started to burn into his closed eyes. He was not in the mood to be awoken by sun in his window. Grumbling, he turned over, covering his head with the ragged pillow. He was sprawled on his mattress in his room, his hand laying on the cold wooden floor. Silvano sighed as his nails scratched the wood, waking him up fully. It was no time to be awake. Rolling out of bed, Silvona ruffled his hair, liking the messed up style for his curls. It looked nice out, so the boy pulled out of bed and out of the mansion.
Ah, how nice it felt, the wind in his fur and the sun on his face, that bastard sun. The lake sound nice; thewet breeze off the water would be nice and breakfast, or was it lunch?, would be easy to find. But what he found was not good, but someone who looked like she could use a heavy lunch. Artemis... "Arty?" called Silvano, almost uncertain. Was it his imagination or did she look weak and tired? "What are you doing out here?" Silvano sat down between his slightly younger sister, watching their reflections ripple on the water surface. Arty was on four legs. It had been a while.
