The wolf dogbrid female paced along the borders relentlessly, she had lapped the entirety of Phoenix Valley four times already in just this one day and many more times from the days before it, pushing her still recovering body more and more. Her mind lost in a swirling of hatred, violence and sickness. There was no room for a love of anything in her heart at the current moment in time, not for her mate nor her adopted son nor the two pups she had lost only a boiling vile fury that burned just under the surface of her mismatched blue and amber eyes.
The stench of birth, and of death clung to her pelt like an unwanted hitchhiker following her around everywhere she went, marking the ground she trod on. Unaware to herself as she walked she was snarling viciously at an almost constant, her lips curled up to reveal gleaming fangs of ivory color and her tail raised stiffly behind her as though she were throwing the theatrics that preceded a fight for dominance. Her body had thinned back down with the deliverance of her spawn that had died before they had lived and then had shrunk even further as she refused to eat anything.
Her ribs pushed out from under her thick fur, her form all angles and harsh lines that protruded out of her skin. The sick female suddenly stopped her pacing and twitched violently, a word being expelled from her growling maw violently "DEMONS!" It made no sense not even to herself for it was unknown of who she was screaming at or to. Veering from her course of border pacing Jace turned inwards away from the edges of Phoenix Valley in towards its heart and towards the den where she had birthed her first litter.
