Fading night

Har.. I was wondering when you'd come back. Yay for the Sadiras' overtaking the forum!

The two standing in the middle of the run down roadway was almost comical, staring at each other with that seeming look of disbelief that they were seeing a ghost from the past so bright and clear. She cleared her throat and shook her head, trying to dislodge the memories from her mind as well. When her niece spoke again she smiled apologetically and asked, Anka, wow.. you're all grown up now. The silver and gold female could be such a genius sometimes. I mean, of course you're grown up. You weren't going to be a pup forever... How are you? She shifted her weight to where she was resting more comfortably in the spot and studied the girl.

She was bursting with so many questions but everything she said was just coming out all wrong. She laughed softly and smiled again, a real one this time, no darkness and old memories filling her head. She could tell herself all she wanted that her family didn't matter, and that she didn't care if anyone hurt her.. but she knew it was all lies inside. How.. is Aiji doing? She really didn't want to ask that question, her sister had seemingly turned into such a different creature after they had grown up.. It had hurt Iskata to see the changes in her.. she'd even tried to kill Ahren for what he had done, but in the end all it had done was leave her scarred..

Now she was older and yet still Ahren and her hadn't been able to truly put it all behind them, though atleast now every time she saw him she didn't feel the need to kill him.. though that didn't change the past, and it didn't really change either of them.
