As much as the Sidhe and her snowy owl companion had been intrigued and drawn to the borders of Dahlia de Mai, the duo also were out in the neutral territories beyond the borders to explore and collect the necessary herbs that grew around these parts. There had been little time to mingle with the locals unfortunately, and now was the time to do so if the Sidhe valued her loyalty to this new pack. Upon acceptance, Saul (the individual who greeted and accepted her) spoke of turmoil. While Saul wasn't particularly descriptive on what turmoil meant, it was enough for Alae to make an effort to get ready on her side of matters by collecting the necessary herbs and plants used for healing. She assumed turmoil might have meant conflict, and where there was conflict, there could be wounds both physical and emotional. Fortunately for the Dahlians, Alae was equipped with both skills of medicinal use and holistic healing.

The Subordinate lingered in Wolfville, rummaging through what ruins were left until a howl rang across the width and breadth of the territory. There was a tune of importance to the melody of the howl, and for the first time Alae heard the call from the Alpha Female of Dahlia de Mai herself. Glancing at Kael who seemingly gleamed right back at her at the sound of the howl, it was a silent agreement the two had to move with haste. Following the source of the howl didn't take long, and the smell of fresh kill enticed her nostrils and taste buds. Upon entering the area of where the Alpha Female was, few others of Dahlian ranks were gathered as well. This would be her first opportunity to meet the others shared with the ranks, and Alae felt rather anxious to do so. Kael flown ahead at one point, but ended up settling upon her right shoulder once the two reached the gathering.

Her first sight was of the Alpha herself. She was two toned in black and white, and just as young as Saul was. Matter of fact, every single individual before Alae would barely touch a year old. This was both shocking and interesting, as the Sidhe suddenly felt slightly out of place for being the oldest out of this gathering thus far. As young as she was, there seemed to be a strong demeanor about her, and so Alae offered a respectful nod toward the Alpha. "Good day, Alpha." Alae greeted kindly, falling silent then and there. It was no doubt that this meeting was of importance, and Alae didn't question the integrity of her howl. Her eye then caught upon Saul, in which she passed a gratifying smile toward his way. Her smile also mirrored to the other young individuals who arrived beforehand, expressing a silent kindness.

So she stood, waiting for the rest of Dahlia to arrive. She wondered in the back of her mind what Saul meant by the turmoil he spoke of, and perhaps this would be the opportunity to realize what they were going up against as a pack. This pack was very different from the one she grew up in, whereas the elders and seasoned members of her birth pack were the ones who held the high ranks. Here, it was completely reversed. Alae wondered what her relatives would think of such a thing back home, as there was time to wait for the rest to show.
