Collecting a cloudy sample of sea water in the amber vial, Alae gingerly swirled the solution until securely twisting on the cap. From the side, her peripheral vision detected something shadowy. Following was a curt inquiry of what Alae possessed, and her eyes transfixed upon a Lupus completely veiled in black. A sense of mystery radiated from the female, as everything but her gleaming yellow eyes (reminding her of her owl companion, Kael, in an odd sense), her flickering piercings in the daylight of the sun, and the deeply worn spiral tattoo cut into fur and flesh were the only details to depict from her void colored figure. The spiral upon her shoulder was appealing enough, giving the lack of damaged nerve endings upon Alae's own shoulder with her tebori tattooed lotus a tingle in remembrance of how such a branding of the flesh felt.
Alae was surprised once again by how casual beings walked around in Lupus in these areas. It was not in her culture and belief to freely walk around in Lupus unless it was by some sort of connection to their ancestors or for a meaningful courtship, but it seemed to be quite casual in these lands. Briefly taking in the ambience that surrounded the dark female, sky blue eyes glanced down at the amber vial she held, and then back to the coyote (suddenly noting how some proportions of her figure were either shorter or longer than that of a wolf). "Ocean water. Nothing too interesting, just for the sake of keeping some salt water on hand for sterilization." Alae replied rather simply, with a light shrug lifting her shoulders. Her eyes couldn't help but stray to the female's spiral tattoo once again. Knowing that some preferred not to immediately embellish on their personal symbolic body art, Alae couldn't help but inquire about it. "Was your spiral applied with tebori methods?" The Dahlian questioned, testing the integrity of how the spiral was adapted in the first place. It looked rather deep and finely outline to be something of tebori, but Alae took an interest to any body art.
