There were no further questions nor accusations, and for that Eris was glad -- she was not embarrassed of herself, of what she believed, but she also would not share it quite so easily. It was different when it came to Sirius and the rest of Anathema. They were pack; they were more likely to understand, and even if they did not, they were bound to respect her and cause her no trouble. The same might not be said for Alae, who was but a stranger -- though Eris saw no signs of aggression in the timberwolf, lack of signed aggression did not indicate a lack of danger. Yet the woman shared her knowledge in turn, and the woman's chartreuse gaze regarded Alae carefully, curiously peering at the other as she spoke of enlightenment. The word was foreign to Eris, and yet the context was well-enough so that she might figure its meaning.

“You have this enlightenment, then?” she inquired, curious. Was it possible to live entirely on another plane of existence? The sable-hued woman did not know; her enlightenment was a wild tangle of colors and shapes and movement, impossible to separate and categorize. Even she, speaker of that spiritual language, needed to sit quietly and listen and interpret. Knowledge did not make itself known to the sable-hued woman without work. “I've seen others with tattoos. You might learn from them,” she suggested, half a smile painted on her face. She was useless with this sort of work; the scar was her forte, whereas coloring it ... while quite the fanciful idea, it was not something Eris even began to know how to do. “You might even have a willing subject to practice on,” the hybrid added, lifting her shoulders in half a shrug, offering herself over -- should the other canine be so willing.
