The thrill of the hunt was hot in her blood as she followed Lucifer out into the woods. Naniko trusted that he would do well, and was content to follow his lead this time. Maybe next time she or Conri would lead the hunt, and they could try out some new tactics. She had been looking in the human city for some weapons, maybe a bow and some arrows. She knew how to make arrows, too, so once her supply ran out she could just make more. But bows, she wasn't so sure about. She would need to look at one to figure it out. She would probably go there sometime with Lucifer and the little ones, to get them out exploring. It was better that the adults showed the young pups all the places that they could go to first, rather than them running out there on their own, where they might get hurt. She followed Lucifer to the herd, sitting down in the grass and observing. What ones would they take?
