They were all prepared for the meal, but they respectfully waited for the leaders to give them a final go. She remembered her first hunt in Celestial Hollow, when she barely was more than a puppy. Nirupama, the alpha had eaten first, then the next ranked wolf was allowed to go. Colibri did not care about such formalities. There was enough for everyone and she had unfortunately hunted down and feasted on a wild rabbit by Flander's Field earlier that day anyway. She waited for the body beneath them to still before she took a step forth and let her teeth pierce and rip of a piece of flesh from the animal's shoulder. She then backed off a bit while chewing on the still warm blood and muscle piece. It had been a very good hunt. She gave a nod, directed to them but also to Cercelee, a sign of that they could feast if Cer too gave the signal.
