Things had been significantly calmer and easier to do since the pups were born. It was gaining on their second week of birth, so weaning them was becoming easier, too. No longer did Ralla have to be around them 24/7 for feeding, but now she could go about her duties as she was supposed to. While freeing, it still worried her to leave them alone in the tree hut by themselves. So! Luckily, there was Nootau, who begrudgingly sat as a babysitter who would alert Ralla immediately of any problems. Likewise, he had done the same when he had told her about J'adore's new find. As a Councilwoman, Ralla needed to be vigilant about her pack and any changes within. Nootau had been especially helpful during the time when she had had no way to stay in the loop, so 'inner espionage' would be the polite term for spying... Nevertheless, it was not as if the news upset the white wolfess at all; only, she felt it was necessary to see who J'adore had brought into the village.

Knocking on the door again, Ralla stood with an air of authority--one that she was struggling to wear as well as their Chief, and yet knew that she would have to try to fit into--and yet a kind face. Lately, the visions of the moon had been more forthcoming; they had been frequent in dreams, and she was sure that if she ventured to the Great Fire again, they would frequent her there as well. More than anything, she wanted to see and judge this 'new wolf', as Nootau had called her. The safety of the tribe was her first concern, and she could not control what J'adore did on the side, unless she deemed it dangerous. "J'adore?" she called. How familiar this was; she had not done this but less than a week ago with squirming pups in tow.
