Windsong
#39

Her tail wagged harder as he moved forward, she felt like a puppy again, happy, giddy, curious. He stopped and pawed at her a bit before he darted off again, this time she kept close behind him. She was a good runner, and always kept up with that instinct, but she had her limits and she knew Dahlia was a big territory As they rounded on the vineyard she had to stop to catch her breath, it was an old place, before the humans died she knew it was something they had created, though it was still beautiful even if there were weeds sprouting, it was still a sight to see. She stopped next to Saluce looking at the thickly growing vines, none of them having their fruits yet, but still looking incredibly interesting all the same, she wondered when there would be fruits, she had tasted wine before, though she had to admit she had never had an actual grape before. She looked at Saluce, wordlessly, her own tongue falling out the side of her mouth. Telling him with her face that she liked the view.
