FML, I hate being sick TT-TT

Her suspicions were confirmed as she named Chief Dawali as her brother, and hence the stance of the white wolf became far more relaxed--less tense, knowing now that the other wolf was of kin to the tribe. Ralla could see Nootau eye a space off in the trees from his perch on a branch a little distance away, but he did not seem wary or worried, so she paid it no mind. She should've at least noted it because she was startled not a moment later by the unmistakable screech of an owl who was not Nootau. Her ears twitched towards the origin of the sound, but her eyes saw nothing, and made her wary then. The Councilwoman was a firm believer in spirits and the world beyond the mortal plain, and while she could not see the owl who had emitted the screech--or any vestige of it, even though the sound was very close--she now connected that Nootau was also looking in that direction, but still let it be. If it were a bad omen--which owls rarely were--or sign, he would've sent her a message, or she would've had a premonition on the fact. As it was, the only ill feelings she was receiving was from the tired look on the Amara's face and from the aura she seemed to be emitting; indubitable sorrow.

"Yes; please, follow me," Ralla said without any further hesitation, waving the Amara forward and beginning the trek back to the village, assuming she would follow. Nootau glided through the branches as they walked, a silent and yet ever-present entitity. After a time of travel, Ralla turned her head back without breaking stride, and although she could now more clearly see the other woman's tired lines come forth more clearly, she thought it would be at least prudent to go through the protocol. "I don't believe I caught your name, by the way. Chief Dawali did not speak often of his siblings. Do you already have a profession path?" Not that she doubted the woman, honestly, concerning the family ties. Resemblances like hers and the Amara family were not common, but the talk was mostly to fill the silence and keep the other woman aware; she looked positively fatigued now (which Ralla could very easily believe). "Hang on, we're almost there," she said as the light coming through the trees grew stronger, signaling that they were coming up to the break where the forestry gave way to the field where the village was nestled at the bottom of its crest. Truly, every time Ralla transitioned from the forestry to where she could see the village, it was marvelous; it always reminded her of her own first time coming to the village, and how beautiful the dawn had been then.

Moon walks. "Moon talks." Moon thinks.
