The ebony feline stalked the wavering grasses that was closest to the territory in which Liliana lived; he had been here once before and had enjoyed it quite a bit. The grasses here were calm and tall, the shortest patch he'd been in having going up to his neck. The lowering sun glistened on his pristine and glossy black coat, giving the cat a seemingly ethereal glow. His thoughts were the same as the ambiance of that day - calm. Clear. And lazy.
The sable shaded feline sat in the tall grass and watched as a rodent - a red squirrel, its tail plume twitching in the air - raced by, an acorn grasped in its slavering jaws. He didn't pursue it, however; he merely watched as it scampered past him in alarm as it noticed the shadow hidden in the grass. He didn't kill unless it was necessary, and right now it wasn't - hunger wasn't on his mind today, only the slow swishing of the grass in the wind.
He vaguely wondered if any members of the neighboring pack AniWaya would see him here; the sun was setting and casting long shadows of grass and trees on the ground, hiding Element quite well. Coupled with the tallness of the grass, he was sure that he wouldn't be spotted unless someone scented him; knowing the skills that canines possessed in the sense of smell, he thought it quite possibly that that would be the case. He wondered if it would be Liliana, and hoped it wasn't a horse.
