The ebon feline smiled when the young girl said that it was a pleasure to meet him - he enjoyed when canines didn't question his ability to talk. It was refreshing to him, a new outlook on the world; he had grown since he had first visited Souls, and it seemed that finding canines that were surprised that he was intelligent was becoming more and more rare.
"It's a pleasure to meet you too," he said pleasantly, sitting up rather than lying down in the soft grass and wrapping his tail around his paws. The cat was very interested as the young girl said that she was an AniWayan - he knew that this was the beautiful lands of AniWaya, but sometimes people visited other packs, as he had found out. She did smell like an AniWayan, however; the wheat and corn fields had a distinct smell that most of the canines had. He was even more intrigued when she said that she and her father had traveled here to Nova Scotia from Spain; he remembered seeing Spain in an atlas in his Halifax library home. It was across an entire ocean from here, and he was much impressed - perhaps they traveled by boat.
"That is incredible," he said, fascinated. "Did you come here by a ship?" The cat was then distracted by another question. "I come from somewhere far from here," he said. "It was up in the Halcyon Mountains, to the west."
