En garde! XD

So, she did remember. At the very least the cleared introductions, but her invitation was quite a surprise. The grey warrior might not have known it, but their thoughts were the same; the lack of sparring partners, that was. Still, it seemed that he was at an unfair advantage, what with her being a half-foot shorter than he. Don't underestimate someone, he chided himself, having learned that lesson the hard way. "While I would love to oblige, the circumstances seem...piled against you?" But even as he said that he came forward, keeping enough distance between them that was proper of beginning a fight.

"Ladies first." Noss said this without an ounce of mockery; he was chivalrous by nature, although he often expected that chivalry to be shown to him first. In this case, he was at the bottom of the rank and also sparring with a lady--twas only proper. Perhaps he had been so hard adjusting to his new rank because he had come by his respect from birth in his old pack--he hadn't had to earn it through a long period of time. Still, it couldn't be denied that he had lived up to expectations there. Here, he had a long way to go.

Warrior walks. "Warrior talks." Warrior thinks.
