She did not take notice of those who came in after, and though it was rude of her, she looked at no one. Fiery eyes remained focused on her own fur, dilated pupils taking in so much more light than they needed. The world was bright, the world was colorful, and she refused to allow her new family to witness the strange and enigmatic Crone under the influence of mind-altering substances. It was not until the presence of Larkspur, filthy wolf-blooded Larkspur, came into her space that she came from her awkward stupor. Her head twisted at the oddest angle, focusing entirely on the mighty ram he presented to his Queen. While she might have hidden her disgust in him at any other moment, the presence of drugs in her system did not restrain the expression that came to her features. Larkspur D'Angelo was, to the mind of the golden shaman, filth; his gift seemed wrong to her, tainted somehow. She made a mental note to avoid eating the ram's meat.
Her attention was pulled to the handsome leader as his voice broke through the silence set around them. His wicked smile enticed her eyes, bringing forth something similar to her own jaws. All of his words sounded wonderful. He was right, this new family held power, and they would grow strong and wonderful. She had been right to trust this man, who had tempted her with words to return her to her former Eternian glory, with a proper family in the new world. He hadn't disappointed her.
And then the speech was over, and he urged them to eat, but she — like so many others — refrained. It would be rude not to partake in the feast, but she felt it best to wait for her lovely leaders to lead the way, and she expected that Eris may require her skills in dealing with the tainted ram brought by her bedmate. It was certainly difficult to resist, of course; the scents caused a rumble in her stomach as fiery eyes took note of all the faces at the table.
