Within, emotion swelled as starlit eyes finally got to settle on the hues he preferred above all. But Saliva had changed, and now moved on two legs instead of four. His sibling’s change had unsettled him somewhat, but he was not afraid. As the son of a religious man and a witch, he knew what was in store for him. Soon, his body too would stretch and change and he would abandon his child status and rise up as an adult of the Family. The overgrown boy was eager to prove himself, but nothing but patience could help him now. Pan was jealous of his sister, yes, but it an emotion born gentle, and he only held joy in his heart for her.
The boy’s sable tail flicked away from the space he had held off as his sibling stepped forth to take her seat. Twinkling silver smiled at his littermate before Salsola’s leader raised his voice. The boy was probably the first to reach out for the prepared food. Ears drew back as his pale teeth fetched the roasted meat, spilling fat and chunks of the food as he had no hands to assist him yet. The boy took after his father in more ways than one. Pan loudly attacked the meat with his jaws, old enough to be able to crush through skin and bone relatively easy. While Pan’s body size already was impressive for his age, the boy’s magnificent appetite revealed that he would continue to turn into Larkspur’s image.
