Ehno listened in silence as the Russo man elaborated on the troubles that d'Arte had faced. It troubled him to realize just how treacherous many of the souls in this region seemed to be of late, but he would not let it bring him down. Instead, he used the knowledge to strengthen his resolve to protect those who called the Dreamer lands home. "A shame," he had said, when Mars had finished speaking of the murders. How could their leader stand by and do nothing while those who stood beneath him suffered? Such a thing would never make sense to the Marino.

It did not take Savina long to reach them, and he offered her a smile and a nod in return of her greeting. He listened on in silence as Mars spoke up again, introducing himself and the children and informing them of a wide variety of skills. Amber eyes watched each of them as they spoke, turning back over to Savina once Krystalle had said her piece as well. "They've come all the way from another pack. I've met Krystalle once before. I'm sure they would all make a fine addition to our ranks," he vouched. He may have only known Krystalle, but he chose to trust that Mars and their children had hearts as good as hers seemed to be. He could see no reason to believe otherwise, despite the tension that seemed present between them.
