She had heard from the other family members that it was the coming of age ceremony today. She thought also about how if they had arrived earlier at Anathema then Venom would have had a coming of age ceremony as well, instead of him just having that lame little birthday party thing that she had thrown for him. She felt bad about that, and would probably either try ad talk Naniko into doing a ceremony for Venom, or something of the sort. She was unsure of her plan as of yet, but she would think of something, she was always good at thinking about something, even if it would be at the last minute. But this was a ceremony she also would not want to miss! Little Jackson and his sister were coming of age, so naturally, the panda patterned female had found the set up time to meditate and to make the boy a rune and energize it. It was a protection rune that she'd learned how to do awhile back, and she mounted the rune onto a string and then tied it securely around the staff that she was working on for the male. It'd been taller than the child was now, so that he would grow into it, and it was a sturdy and straight branch, rather strong and no chance of breaking unless it was overused or had too much weight on it. She knew that this staff would serve Jackson well. She put carved an extra rune into the staff top itself before she had mounted an old raven skull she had found onto the top of it. She then tied two black feathers onto strings and let them hang there on the staff. She concentrated and put as many happy feelings as she could muster into the staff, and to an aura reader, it seemed to glow with energy.

After the woman was done getting the boy's gift ready, she had looked to Venom to see if he had covered what to give the little girl. He had a bag of runes for the girl, only five so she would not have a heavy baggage to carry at such a young age. He figured that later on that she would make her own runes and put them in the same bag as well. Once he had presented the woman with the gift, they were off to the ceremony grounds. It took little time to show up, and by the time that they did, Jackson was already there. She carried the staff in her hand, and Venom held his bag of runes along with him. They both would take seats on the stumps and wait for when they were allowed to give their gifts to Jackson and Agony. Panda and Venom both had exciting auras, if any other of the Anathemans were like Venom and actually read auras. Panda's was a clear orange color that radiated around her while his own would have been a pale yellow, both experiencing their own individual emotions about the ceremony.
