*brushes dust away from table* I need a new one , haha. Sorry for the delay. Optime form.

Siku had not imagined such a journey would be ahead of them, the morning her family departed. She spent the morning packing food and the little items here and there that she had accumulated over the months she spent inside the cabin. Each time she left a room she glanced back, almost willing her golden eyes to memorize every detail of the wooden shelter Saul had created for them. Siku knew that they would not be going back. She watched as Saul gathered the most important of his things and packed her own few things herself. There was the book Nayru gave her, an encyclopedia of plants. There was a faded black dress she had found, worn and frayed but still usable and fitting. It was awkward to wear at first but she grew accustomed to it. Today she wrapped the book in it as protection from the weather.

Siku had also scavenged a couple of buildings after finding out they were to leave. She looked through the vineyards, managing to find three unbroken bottles of wine. They were a little hard to carry on their own, but once she got them back to the cabin Siku packed them away for the trip properly. Before they left, the white faced Dahlian circled the cabin and tried to ease her anxious heart. She would miss everything about their cozy cabin, but homes could be replaced and her family could not. It was without regret that Siku finally walked away.

Now sitting among a mix of dear friends and strangers , the petite white woman longed just a little for what used to be home. Wine bottles and book splayed out next to her, Siku curled herself up on one side of Saul- Wretch on the other. Golden eyes studied new faces, and lingered on the ones that she recognized. Gideon, Nayru and Alae were the only others she could name, but technically they were all family now. Siku glanced back at Saul, and sighed softly. They were here, and now it was time to relax and celebrate. It had gone along so smoothly, and Siku was impressed with both Nayru and Razekiel. Granted the trip was long and taxing, Siku knew it all to be worth it as she gazed around with love. Their new home, it was beautiful.

Plans and ideas already circulating in Siku's mind, her eyes snapped up as Razekiel began to speak. A smile grew on her lips as he spoke. Breathe it in. All the negative feelings Siku had built up against the man seemed to dissipate along their journey, for she could not help but feel comfortable and loving around the strange soul. He was just so chill. Siku closed her eyes, and let her head rest on Saul's shoulder as she enjoyed the moment. The hardest part was over. Now Nayru urged them to settle down for the night, set up a fire and eat. Siku moved to unpack the prepared food and the wine she brought, and was glad she had found three bottles as she glanced around at the group again. Perhaps it would be just enough. Along with the sweet tart liquor, she had brought along plenty of dried meat to share too. Slightly unsure of what to say though, Siku bit her lip shyly and moved to stand as Alae offered her incense. Gathering up her nerves despite the strangers around her, Siku leaned down to grab the bottles of wine and moved toward the center of the pack.

"Nayru," Siku greeted her leader lovingly, nodding as she could not wave with her arms full. She knelt to the ground, unloaded her arms of the meat and drink, and then stood again to motion to Alae with a friendly smile. "I've brought wine for everyone, and there is some meat as well." Siku spoke softly, as she had never interacted with the wolves of what was Phoenix Valley before. To be honest she was a little shy. Now Siku looked over to Alae, and her heart eased a little. The two women had never even exchanged a word, but still Siku felt a connection to the fellow former- Dahlian. "I will make the fire, too, I guess." Siku grinned awkwardly, her broken fang quickly causing her to close her mouth again. "As for incense.. I've never used one before; just light the tip?" She continued, golden eyes glancing up at Alae curiously. Secretly, Siku hoped that maybe her open actions would urge the others to break the ice as well.
