The boy before her was troubled, his mind in another galaxy. He wasn’t thinking about her, or the fact that she was blatantly breaking Salsola rules by talking to him the way she did. It didn’t bother her much, but she was curious as to why the young man was already so lost and caught up with something in his mind. Magnolia wished him well, but pitied him at the same time. She pitied the boy that remained nameless. She wondered if he would even tell her his name, or if she’d have to discover his identity through someone else.
“Well you know two magnolias now,” the girl smiled, trying to be cute. Of course, Magnolia’s first response to the sullen man was to shower him with her sickly sweet side. Magnolia had been nothing but a spoiled pup around Undertaker, and that worked on him. The silver wolf realized a different approach would be needed to win over this fellow, so she decided flirtation and kindness was the way to go.
The man commented on his lacking crown, and Magnolia took that cue. “Can I get you some more flowers? Maybe some wildflowers to brighten it up?” She really was trying to help him. She could see the bruises and injuries, and wouldn’t want the man to move and be pained. Magnolia would help the blonde to finish his crown for his princess, even if she wasn’t the girl meant to wear it.
