Alder had never thought that he would ever be in this position. He wished to run to Crimson Dreams and tell his mother, to tell her that she was right in everything she had done as a mother. Tell her that he had reached his goals and become something more then a shaking pup who couldn't speak to another kind beast. The male walked down the row of stalls, the long noses of their occupants sticking out to greet him. He was still nervous sometimes, but never around the horses. He walked with tack in hand, a large saddle that he had polished. There had been a few tares, and he fixed those too. Alder put it back with the others, all arranged by size. Wiping the dirt from his hands he whistled, and the large back and white head of his prized stallion popped out from his stall on cue.
The male seemed to speak more low speech here then the higher talk of canines. And he chattered with the stallion as he opened his door to allow him his leave. Hawthorn moved slowly, but in a gentle manner rather then a cautious or scared one. He loved the horse, in a way that only reminded him of his love for his family. Alder opened another, a mare and then a young stallion. They had leads, for his trust in them was not as full as with Hawthorn. They ventured to the pasture, Marshall of the Court in the lead. Once freed within the large field his blue eyes gazed upon the three, dancing more so then running through the tall summer's grass. His tall form sat on the fence, resting for just a moment.
