Saul saw Eclipse approach Wretch, a quiet question on his cousins lips. He knew Eclipse had never met Wretch, and while his darker coated cousin had been in Dahlia long enough for Siku to have arrived, he doubted she would remember her. Still, living under one roof would aquaint them well enough he was sure. Standing on the table he looked down at Range, grinning softly towards the boy. Along with Gideon and Saul, he was the only other male in the house and he knew he was eventually going to be overcome by the eostrogen in the house. It was amusing, but true. Saul vowed to try and do as much manly things with the boy to keep his masculinity in tact over the coming months. He knew Range was eager to help around the large building, help that Saul was more than grateful for. Gesturing for the dark boy to join him on the table, he smiled as the Soul male eagerly clambered aboard.

"Range, I need your help to keep the roof stable while we remove the damaged half of the a-beam. I intend to knock it out, and then Gideon-" He paused to look back at his brother. "If you could hand up the new beam once the old one is on the floor?"

He asked, tail wagging as his brother agreed to the plan. With a grin, he turned back to the beam. The apartment had no ceiling as normal houses did, more to the fact that it was on the side of the building. Instead, the inside of the roof served as the cieling, giving the room a very high veiw. It was the same in all of the rooms in the upstairs section. Arranging with his nephew to first help him unscrew the bolts holding the beam to the main frame, then allowing the boy to hold up any unstable bits of the roof as he began knocking the beam out. With an almighty crash, the half of the structure they had wished to remove hit the floor with a thunderour crash. Looking back to see if anyone had been harmed, he was pleased to see they were all doing well. He grinned softly, hooking the hammer into his belt as he looked to Gideon. The beam was heavy and he had Range abandon his efforts to keep the undamaged roof in tact. A few more bits of plaster fell in, but it was otherwise unaffected by the removal of one of the support beams.

"Thank you Gideon" He grunted as he pulled the beam up, handing half to Range. The boy held it firmly, the two of them balanced on the table as they looked back up at the damaged roof. They would have to place the end of the beam into the bottom joist then push it up to join at the top. They would then have to nail the flatboards to the outside and then the inside, to create a ceiling devoid of an ugly beam naked up there. Leaving Range to hold the majority of the weight, Saul began to hammer in the wooden pags used for holding the beam in place at the joints they had just unscrewed the old beam from. Soon enough, they would have a working roof up here.
