Private for the lovely Shannon-Noah-face SmileSmile Set on the 10th if that's ok, Soran's been doing a HELL of a lot of walking recently lol. Waiting for her to crash and sleep for like 2 weeks solid lol.

pushitinIt was early afternoon, the sun was high in the sky, beating down on the craggy outcrops of rock that jutted from the mountainsides about the place, a few sparse bushes were slowly crisping in the heat, wobbling lines of warm air were visible, a clear heat haze. Through all of this the dark shadow of Soran walked. It had been a long time since she had wished not to have black fur, her father had used it to accuse her of being evil, had used it to justify killing her mother, her adopted mother, Iikka, her adopted brother, there had been a time when she had loathed her ebony pelt, that she had wished that she was a different colour. But it had been a great time since she had felt like that, once her father had died, she viewed it as a badge of honour, a sign that she had survived, that she was tougher than most, she had passed her dark fur onto her son and her grandchildren, it was good, showing that her genes were not wrong, her dark offspring might be missing, but they were most certainly not evil. But right at this moment, the dark fae wished that she could have lighter fur, just while she walked in this heat, her pelt seemed to store it, the dark fur saving it and creating an extra layer of warmth against her skin. Just this once she wished that her fur wasn't quite so good at storing heat, she was sure a cream coloured pelt would have helped with that.
pushitinThe obsidian fae was walking towards a pack, she knew she was getting near to the packlands, she could smell it. She was here because she had created a theory, a theory that Conri would try and stay close to Naniko if he were indeed in the packlands. It was true that he had been filled with guilt and shame when she had last seen him, not wanting to be around his former mate, or her pups, but she was sure that he wouldn't abandon them completely, he would have kept his distance without being too far away. This was why she was walking towards this new pack, it was the closest to Anathema, if he was going to have tried to stay near to Naniko, chances were he'd be here, if he wasn't, then she would just widen her search south. So the jade eyed fae was walking through the mountains, walking towards where she hoped her red furred son would be. Soon the fae reached the border, she could smell the pack here. Once upon a time she might have just walked in, but that was a long time ago, in other lands, they all had known that she was not a threat, it was accepted that she might tread a few feet into the lands as to better be heard when she was shouting for someone. But not now, she barely knew anyone here anymore, so much had changed, it was unusual to see even a familiar face around now, let alone a friendly one. So the dark shifter sat down and crossed her legs, her knees almost touching the borderline, she crossed her wrists across her ankles, drawing small patterns in the dust with her fingertips.
"Hello! Is there anyone nearby?" She called out, knowing that she could sit there quietly all day and no-one would come across her, it was better to make herself known than wait for someone to happen by her.
