Sirius had brought the Lykoi girl to these new lands only days prior, and already she felt at peace amongst its rugged terrain. She had yet to explore much of the territory on her own, and hung close to the Borgata Colotl. However, Daisy longed to stretch her legs and a small whinny alerted Clover to her desire. Their trek would not nearly be as long as it had been days ago, but Clover figured see could easily spare a few hours navigating the land that twisted away from the Ruins to form the rest of the Thistle King’s realm.
The pair pushed north through the dense mix of deciduous and coniferous forest. Daisy was content just to be able to move her legs with Clover in her company, and the Lykoi girl was equally at peace observing the new lands. Her only regret was that the sea breeze began to die away as they progressed into the Borgata Tocatl and the trees began to thin.
Perhaps she would not have noticed the barn tucked amongst a stand of trees, but the unfamiliar (and somehow slightly familiar) scents, as well as their noise, of others nearby drew Clover closer. Daisy turned towards the corral and Clover kept pale golden eyes open and searching for signs of others.
It wasn’t until they drew near the barn and that Clover dismounted her white mare, that she caught sight of the darkly colored male. "Good day," she offered, while dipping her head in greeting. There was still much the young girl had to learn about the social conventions of the pack. Though she did not dare to speak until the man acknowledged her, Clover did not refrain from letting her gaze wander. Now she noticed the ruby colored woman, her fur cascading in gorgeous waves, and was instantly captivated by her beauty. However, the woman hardly looked up from her chores, and Clover eventually let her gaze travel back to Larkspur.
