Build God

She'd laid there for a while, but she didn't know why. She hated the room, yet she could not make herself leave it. Traces of what had happened were cleaned away, but it still smelled like hell in her head. Her body would heal, but would her soul? Maybe she should move her den somewhere else once she had the energy to. Not far, just.. another house, not here. Then again.. she had chosen it because it seemed like one of the few less dangerous places to live. It could prove fatal to her grief to stay, however. She lay there thinking, but she didn't really know what she was thinking about. She wished she had not woken up to learn the truth.

A familiar voice broke through the silence and her thoughts. What, Haku? but.. he disappeared a long time ago. Then again, so had she. The ivory female felt a smile break out on her face, an honestly happy one, the kind that had not graced her with its presence in a long long time. How random, that he, of all people, her brother, here, when she'd just returned herself? Had she been able to, the female would have bolted out of the house, happily greeting the single family member which actually seemed connected with her aside from in blood. Tail wagging softly, Mew got up with a wince, and started stomping down the stairs as fast as her broken body would allow her to. Just to make sure he knew she was coming, she called out to him, though not in words. The howl was not loud, it was as loud as it needed to be for him to hear, and it told him what she could not express; the joy of coming to greet him again. It was far too long since they had last played and hunted each other through the forests of Clouded Tears.
