eh, short post

Indeed. where were the puppies. Somewhere else, that's what. She had not visited them yet, so she did not know exactly where they lay. A taste of salty tears to remind her of her loss appeared on her tongue, but she did not cry. She never liked crying in front of others, and was quite cheered up now, if temporarily. She would let it pass, even if her heart had turned itself inside out and back again in a split second. While last question had been bad enough to answer, she now hesitated. She looked at him, green eyes meeting his so very different, yet equally radiant, blue eyes. Taking a breath in Mew looked to the ground, realizing that the wound on her stomach was quite revealing in the position she held. They died.. I barely made it, I think. It was just a few nights ago. Her voice was not as cheery as it had been just moments before; a bitterness slowly seeped into it and corrupted its normally gracious sound. Just a few days, and so bitter already. She hoped she would not turn into one of those wolves who could not let go of the past. Now, however, the past was present, in her mind, and she was reliving it over and over again without anyone asking her if she wanted to. Her tail was no longer wagging, and Mew looked up at her baby brother again, hoping he would not ask any more questions to bring her to her knees. She was so close to the ground already.
