Hello there ^_^

An irritated swat of her hand sent the animal into the air, its wings picking up and taking it out of her range before she had the chance to touch it. She had no idea exactly what a large white bird was doing in her den, but she didn't plan on getting up to find out. A crow wasn't threatening enough to raise the alabaster leader from her slumber. These days uninterrupted sleep was hard to come by; the pregnant leader was a light sleeper and often awoke due to kicks or movements from the pups within. She rolled over on her bed, sending small clouds of dust into the air with each movement of her torso and limbs. Naniko had just settled down after being awake all throughout the day and the night prior and a little bird's pecking wasn't going to wake her.

Squawking, though. That would do it. She put her legs over the edge of the bed, feet touching the floor. Clawed hands came up to rub at her eyes, trying to clear away the sleepy feeling. Now that she was able to focus on the creature, its words were beginning to make some sense. "Border, border! Go to the border!" It kept repeating. She blinked a few times, a frown creasing her features. "Why?" She didn't trust most beasts...but perhaps this bird was unique. Some pack members carried creatures with them, she knew.

"Stranger" The crow said. Her eyes narrowed as she watched it flutter around the room. If there truly was a stranger at the borders, then she would go out to see why they were there. A week or two prior, a jackal-hybrid had been attacked just outside of the packlands...perhaps it was someone who knew her. Or someone who had trespassed and needed a good lesson in politeness and respect. The large female got to her feet, heading out the entrance of her den and starting for the borderlines at a jog. She couldn't run too quickly in her heavily pregnant state, but she'd get there soon enough.

She was surprised to see Alaki when she reached the group. She didn't see him at the borders very often. Naniko watched as the crow returned to its companion, then looked to the stranger that the creature had indicated. "What's she want?" She demanded. It appeared that Anon had not trespassed, and Alaki didn't show any signs of open hostility in his body language. The Angela wore a weapons belt and could defend herself with her daggers if it was needed...but she hoped that it wouldn't come to that. As skinny as she was, the wanderer didn't look like too much of a threat. "You look half starved, girl. Where did you come from?" She said, addressing the stranger.
