The gray toned female nodded, taking in the words Tayui spoke and the small informative story she told. Though Anu was naturally observant she did not notice the hint of reservation that came with the topic. She could only think that any wolf would be proud to talk of the pack and it's strengths.

Anu knew only one name, having met Kaena Lykoi seasons and seasons ago. It was during a winter storm, atop of the mountains to the east. She had been an interesting woman. Anu imagined her daughter was just as interesting. A bit coyote if Anu remembered Kaena correctly, though she didn't have anything against the species. I met the leader of Inferni once, but that is all. Anu replied, her smile remaining. It was good that Tayui had a pack, they all needed support and a family.

She felt the chill in the air, remnants of the stoic tone Tayui had given. There was something wrong, but she could not tell if it was the fey beside her or the coastal breeze that touched and moved her short fur. Do you miss you children? Anu asked, then a thought came to her suddenly. You can always rest in my pack lands, if your traveling to visit them.
