Short post; heading to work in a minute!

She heard the call and began a slow walk toward the pair, groaning as her back strained with the movements. By all rights the female should have been on bed rest or something similar; she had the feeling that it would not be too much longer before her litter would make its arrival in this world. It was great that there would be more pups in the pack; a wolf having a litter was always a joyous event in any pack, and Anathema was no exception to that. She would be relying on the pack to keep the borders patrolled and to keep her safe during her birth and directly afterward.

The large female rubbed at her back as she walked, trying to rid herself of some of the aches and pains. She had been laying down for most of the morning...that was probably why she was so stiff now. As she neared the two her eyes narrowed slightly, taking in the sight of the two dark figures walking together. One she easily recognized as Ravesque...but the other was not quite as familiar. Her daughter had changed over the months since she had seen her. She had shifted and had become much curvier, among other changes.

She had just gotten Rio back, it seemed. "Caprica?" Her voice called, nose recognizing the scent of her daughter as it drifted toward her on the breeze. Her heart thudded in her chest, breathing coming more quickly as she took a few more steps forward. "Caprica!" She was sure of it now, certain that the figure in the distance was her green-eyed child.
