WC: 307 - Too lazy for table xD Forward dated to the 29th i believe? You guys choose what posting order you wanna do ^^
Blades of grass shimmered with a fresh coating of dew as the morning light hit them, mist filling the air and blocking his view partially with a white veil. Raising a hand to his mouth he yawned and rubbed it across sleep filled eyes, having strangely woken up for no apparent reason at some ungodly hour in the morning, he’d snuck away from the comforting, warm arms of his mate to walk the borders in hope that doing so wear him out some, at least enough for the dark male to sleep once more when he returned. Moving silently forward, he could feel the fur around his paws soaking up the water from the damp grass, making the hairs turn from grey to black. With each stride forward long, unbound hair swayed behind him, matching the rhythm of his steps.
Soaring above him was the pest, seemingly happy to be awake and doing something, rather than stuck underground. If he hadn’t been so ridiculously awake, he would have turned around and snuck back into his new quarters and wrapped himself around the white one once more, but his mind refused to sleep and his body itched to move and do things, leaving him little to no choice but to stay up and moving.
Never having been much of a morning wolf, along with having left his mates side early as well, the Marbas was in a right mood and with every passing tree he felt the compulsive urge to grab a weapon and simply attack the immobile plant; heck, it would use up energy and take an edge off of his fowl mood. The only thing that stayed his hands was the mental image of someone coming across him attacking a tree… he already had made a fool of himself enough times and so when such a thing could be avoided, he tried to do so.
