Things seemed to move in a blur around her as she concentrated on the contractions. The pups were coming whether she was ready for them in that moment or not. The female took a few steps between each contraction, getting closer and closer to that back room. By the time she made it there she was contracting more regularly, with less time in between each one. She laid back against the wall of the cave, panting. Naniko didn't want this to be a show for the entire family to see...She covered herself up, wincing as another bit of pain streaked across her swollen belly. She was ready to get those pups out.
Over the next hour or two they arrived. Naniko had figured out first names for them but nothing else yet; she wanted to speak with Barrett about the surnames that the pups would be given. "Octavius" The first was named, a male as pale as the white queen herself. The pup set to feeding, a good sign. The second and third came just as this one had, alive, healthy, and squirming. "Severus" This one was a steel gray color, though hints of a black hood could be seen over his head and back even at his young age. He squeaked and whined, joining his brother in feeding as the last pup came into the world. This one seemed...different. The most painful contraction ripped through her as he arrived. At first the pup did not move or squeak, but soon his voice joined the others. The more darkly colored pup's squeak was unique, high pitched and more insistent. "Judas."
