It appeared that the pups were finished coming; as she cleaned Severus off and set him beside his two littermates, her condition began to improve. She began to breathe more normally, using towels to pick each one up and be certain that they were squeaking, breathing, and that they were dry. Once that task was finished, she set each back down so that they could begin to nurse. It was important for them to nurse soon after birth so that they could gain strength from it and begin to grow. Pups grew very quickly. Naniko laid her head down, closing her eyes for a moment.
A deep voice brought her out of her semi-restful state, jade eyes opening to see the large, red-eyed male above her. He was a welcomed sight, and the corners of her mouth turned upward slightly. It wasn't that he had brought something to eat that made her happy, it was simply that he was there at all. Naniko wasn't completely insensitive and hadn't been sure how he would take the pups' actual birth. The fact that he had shown up meant a lot to her. She hoped that her smile showed it; she was genuinely happy to see Ravesque. "It's finally over...all the waiting. Thank you for the food. Do you want to come closer?"
