"They will be, with us here to raise them. They'll be perfect." That was what she truly wished for, more perfect children. Ones who were sensible, smart, and knew what they wanted out of life. Scorpius wasn't a complete failure in her eyes, as he could go on to pass the D'Angelo blood on and create more for the line after all...but he wasn't what she had expected him to grow up to be. Naniko had hoped that with all of the training and teaching that she had done, he would turn out to be a warrior or perhaps some kind of medic. Something truly useful that she could take advantage of and direct, like a piece on a chessboard.
"Ravesque and I will raise them - their blood father is not around, but he is more than capable. Pups need discipline."Though the dark male was not their blood-related father, if he was willing to then he would serve that role for them. Naniko did not ask much of Ravesque, but he seemed keen to make sure that things were running smoothly with her pregnancy and often took care of her in ways that she didn't realize. It would be good for the pups to have a father-figure in their lives...and after their late-night talk, she felt more sure of Ravesque than ever before. They weren't together, not exactly, but he looked out for her and made certain that she was never wanting for anything.
She noticed Caprica standing among the others and smiled to her daughter after taking a long drink of the water that Rio had brought. "Ah, thank you, Rio. Caprica - meet your three new little brothers. Judas, Octavius, and Severus." She said. "I appreciate all of you being here...it's a joy to have so many around for this joyous event." Naniko said, a genuine smile creeping onto her muzzle. She felt content with her family there, her two daughters and Ravesque. They were all she needed.
