OOC: Ok, so Tawny has gathered the materials she needs to make Saul's pretty, she just doesn't know that she is going to make anything for him yet. Her hands/paws are pretty torn up from the thorns and constructing the backpack thing, and then carrying the glass. Saul's medical assitance would be lovely. ;D Word Count: 940

Tawny was once again wandering around in the forest. She had no idea where she was at the moment, nor did she really care. As long as there were pretty things to look at and all kinds of special things to collect, location made no difference. Currently she was in a deeply wooded area near New Glasgow, and was finding that there were a lot more collectables closer to the old towns. Her long used rabbit skin satchel was filled to the point of bursting, and she had a slowly growing pile of items that she had to get back to her workspace, closer to where Razekiel lived. Frustrated with her lupus forms’ lack of hands to build things, she shifted and went on a little rampage, ripping the materials she needs from the ground and trees without thought about being noisy or damaging the plants.

After grabbing two long, thick sticks, she then took some wild rose vines from the ground. The thorns cut into her paw pads, making her whine and drop them, crouching down and looking over the length slowly. Using her sharp nails, she broke the thorns off, also peeling the outer skin of the vine off, all at one time. It took a few minutes to do it to all of the lengths of vine, altogether adding up to a length longer than she was tall, and then some. The soft, wet inner skin of the vines was very sticky, and as she began to wrap the big sticks together, about a foot apart from each other, the stickiness acted like an adhesive, holding everything together easily. A few more sticks were added into the mix, making a sort of back board. Then she took the remaining vines and braided them, twisting them around the thicker sticks to create a basket type frame. About an hour and a half after starting her little project, she had a fully functioning basket/shoulder bag that would effectively hold the things she’d been gathering.

Pleased with herself, she scooped the many sticks, vines, leaves, rocks and flowers. After making sure nothing would be falling out, tightening some of the vines and shifting the sticks around a bit, she scooped it up onto her shoulder and started to walk. There was still quite a bit of room in her new creation, so she decided to keep looking for things, despite the falling sun and darkening forest. The closer to town she came, more interesting sights and smells began to pops up and draw her off the thin path. A few more items were picked up along the way, but she stopped when the dead and falling husks of old buildings came into view, not interested in venturing into the town. She was still a little bit nervous about being in places like these, especially alone. As weird as it was for Tawny to be dependent on another of her kind, she would have loved if Jace was there to go exploring with her. The beautiful older female would have made her feel so much safer. But there was no one with her, so she would stick to the edges of the forest and see what she could find. Perhaps there would be interesting things to pick up and play with.

Of course there was! Tawny was good at searching for things when she set her mind to it. Not much escaped her dark blue gaze and within another house, her pack was full and heavy on her shoulder. As she turned away from the fading town, something glinted in the sunset and caught her eye, making her take a few steps closer and kneel down. Scraping at the dirt a few times, she eventually unearthed a slab of dirt covered mirror. There were large smudges on it where the reflection would probably never be very good again, but it was big and had a lot of clear places. Yipping in excitement, she pulled it from the ground and stood slowly, eyes growing wide when she realized that it was almost as tall as herself. Groaning in exasperation, she slid her arm through one of the many thick lengths of vines on the pack and let it hang from her shoulder like a backpack. Another annoyed noise broke from her throat as she gripped the sides of the mirror with both hands and hefted it up, staggering from the weight. Her body was small naturally, but she had never really been a healthy creature, malnourished to a detrimental point before meeting these new wolves in her pack. They took care of her to an extent, but couldn’t exactly provide everything for the young woman.

Everything was so heavy that she had to make regular stops, taking a few minutes here and there to rest and catch her breath. It took her forever for her to get back to the place she was calling home for the time being, but eventually she got there, propping the glass up against the rock wall and then tossing her shoulder pack to the ground and collapsing, panting heavily. Her body was sore all over and she was so tired. Barely a few minutes of hard breathing passed before she was passed out stretched out on the ground in optime form, something shed never done before. Tawny had never stayed in anything other than Lupus form for more than a few minutes at a time, and now she’d broken that age old rule for hours! However, while sleeping she had no way to think about and worry over the consequences of breaking her dead mother’s rules.
