That was when he saw her, his eyes widened. The woman had changed just as he had. His old scars from the fight with Argul as well as Kesho still showed he had done his best to fight for his life and justice of his son’s death. Before he spoke, she said his name, and that brought a whole tornado of action as he heard the words he’d longed to hear for so long now, and the two pups came rushing at him. He let them bowl him over as they wagged their tails in greeting and were making a fuss. Tears that he didn’t know where they came from, were trying to force their way out, but he kept himself in check as he laughed.
“Juliet, Titania, it’s so good to see you again!”
He was so relieved that his daughters knew who he was and were happy to see him. They’d grown up from the day old puppies he’d last seen them as, now rambunxious little things, and he loved any lick, nuzzle or question they gave him. His tail was wagging with such enthusiasm. This reunion was the happiest he’d ever been since the death of his son.
