WC: 386 OOC: Smile

Shawchert soon found that he was able to keep them out of his face and still enjoy their loving enthusiasm as he became more aware that Orin was there. She seemed so different now, reserved, not the Orin he remembered, though her remark made him grin. In no way were these children shy, though he wondered if that was a good or a bad thing. The mother had her hands full and he wished he could do something about it. He watched as she took her daughter by the scruff and put on a necklace around the girls neck and looked with curiousity and confusion, runes? What are they and what for? But he got distracted again, though he made it so he could sit up a bit and be more presentable. She spoke again, and shawchert couldn’t help but think he should have never had to have such a welcome, but he knew she was thinking of the children when everything happened. He’d been torn from them and his pack and though Sky had made it somewhat easier by going to look herself, he was still in turmoil at who or what had done the murder until it was too late and another happened. He was glad that nightmare was over, but now it was a reunion he had longed for, for so long. She spoke on about the things they didn’t know and that someone gave her a wake up call, and the emphisis she put on it made him wonder who that someone was. He’d forgotten that he was still newly returned and that he was aparently no longer mated to the woman he cared so much for. He smiled as she asked how he was and couldn’t help but tell her the truth.

“Now? I couldn’t be better. I can't begin to say how good it is to see you and the girls both alive, I almost thought he'd gotten to you before... before he was....”

He said, not finishing for the girls' sake. he had his attention on both the girls, to keep them from his face and used his hands as a distraction, and Orin, because she was so different, so.. un-Orin like and she was here talking to him, he had a hard time thinking any of them were alive after so long. He was thrilled to know she had not come back when he went missing or he feared he would have never seen his children again. He wondered if Demetrius would make his own appearance to the three, but he wasn't sure, the boy seemed to just sit nearby and watch silently, though he had a pleasant smile on his face, which allowed for Shaw to not feel entirely guilty the boy could not share this moment fully, though there was the guilt of it all deep down inside.
